Building Fund Donation Drive

Building Fund Donation

At Recovering Hands, we believe in the power of community to create lasting change and our community support has made it possible for us to make such an incredible difference in the many lives we’ve touched.  Today, we’re asking for your support in reaching the next stage of our new building project.  Recovering Hands is dedicated to providing vital support to women suffering from the effects of alcohol and drug abuse.  We help them improve their health and wellness, learn to live a self-directed life and begin to utilize the recovery skills necessary to reach their full potential.

Since 2014 we have grown and proven to be a crucial resource in our community.  Your abiding support directly impacts our ability to continue to offer our services to those who need us most. Every donation, regardless of size, helps us to make a difference to the women and families we serve.

Our goal right now is to finish paying off our contractors (Rob Land Development & Construction) for the first phase of our building project.  We have already paid the deposit ($16,922.50) and have raised enough to date to pay for the rough plumbing and Slab Completion ($67,690.00) which is roughly %50 of the total for this phase of the project.  With your help, we will finish paying to have the Roof, Windows, Doors installed and the building sheathed and covered in weather proof wrap.  Completing this part of the project gives us a usable building which can then be finished off by the end of 2025.  Construction has already begun.  The slab should be ready for inspection by mid March and then the framing will begin.

This campaign runs until May 31, 2025, and we really need your help. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of those we serve.

Please donate to our campaign through the Zeffy platform we are using or mail a check made out to Recovering Hands at 4067 Beulah Road, Nathalie, VA, 24577.  We also take donations through Zelle, Cashapp, PayPal and Venmo.  Just contact me back and I’ll share the appropriate information with you.

Very Gratefully yours,

Kim Adams
